DHA Peshawar master plan to be launched by mid-2017
DHA Peshawar is one of the most sought after projects in
the locality at the moment. The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) has several
different housing societies creating a buzz in different cities. This
particular project was officially launched in November 2015, and many investors
from across the country – and abroad – rushed to apply for a plot here.
The
authority has launched 10-marla and 1-kanal plots in the locality with the
following payment plan:

The
society has not seen much development in the past. However, things may not
remain the same in the near future and by near future I mean: two to three
months. According to a legitimate source, DHA will roll out its master plan for
DHA Peshawar by mid-2017. I have also learned that balloting for plots in the
society will be held at the same time. It means that DHA Peshawar is a hotbed
for investment in the current scenario, so if you are looking to get a slice of
some property in Peshawar, this project should be high up on your priority
list.
Development status
Since
its inception in November 2015, DHA Peshawar has not seen much development.
Only the boundary wall of the project is currently being developed, and work
for its ground levelling is yet to begin. It is expected that full-fledged
development work will start after the project’s official map is launched, and
balloting for its plots is held.
Important note: DHA has not issued any final date for the launch of
the official map, so if anyone gives you any date in this regard, take the
information with a pinch of salt. Rest assured that if and when the final date
is announced, I will update you guys about it.
Current rates
Those
who had booked plots on instalments in the locality are probably happy today
because the current profit margin is PKR 1,300,000 and 950,000 for 10-marla and
1-kanal plots respectively. On the other hand, the current value of 1-kanal
affidavit files is PKR 5,000,000 and that of 1-kanal allocation files is PKR
4,950,000.
DHA recently launched DHA Multan and started offering villas in DHA Bahawalpur, meaning that these projects are currently the
centre of attention for the housing authority. This does not mean that DHA
Peshawar has been put on the back burner, as the project will see progress
sooner rather than later. If anything, the buzz around DHA projects has been
causing a ripple effect – for instances, prices of DHA Gujranwala shot up
because of the attention being given to DHA Bahawalpur. Similar trends can be
expected for DHA Peshawar.

yes, as property prices in the locality will most likely see a sudden jump by
