According to details, the government has already purchased 500-acre land worth PKR 1 billion in Shabi for the university campus. The news report reveals that the 300-bed hospital will be built with assistance from China.
Gauging the severity of the water-shortage issue in the city, Sharif announced that a desalination plant would be set up on a priority basis, which will be filtering 500 million gallons of water each day.
The PM also announced a package of PKR 1 billion for the improvement of the roads and sewerage system in the city.
